I’m sending Banarasi-saree wholesale to a retailer — how should it be packed?
Flat-pack with acid-free tissue between layers, then a corrugated outer carton with desiccant pouches if monsoon is in play — silk and zari hate humidity. We seal the carton in a tamper-evident wrap, attach the commercial invoice + KYC envelope on the outside (visible to DTDC sortation), and book it under your GSTIN. For high-value brocade wedding shipments, ask us about declared-value cover before pickup — DTDC’s default liability is limited.

Yes via DTDC last-mile. Sarnath (~10 km from Varanasi) — same day or next morning. Chunar (~40 km) — add 1 working day. Mirzapur (~85 km) — add 1 working day, sometimes 2 in monsoon. We will confirm the realistic ETA before you book.
