Pilgrim returns, Patanjali B2B, student care-kits.
Patanjali Yogpeeth / Gurukul Kangri students
Care-kits to Patanjali Yogpeeth, Gurukul Kangri University and the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in Shantikunj. Books, kitchen-kits, sattvik dry rations only — no oil, no ghee. Peak in academic-session months.
Har-ki-Pauri pilgrim returns
Devotees from Udaipur who took a Ganga-snan at Har-ki-Pauri, Brahma Kund or the Kankhal ghats and want shawls, photo-prints or souvenirs shipped home. Important: we do not ship gangajal — even in sealed bottles. Liquid, not accepted by DTDC. Tell pilgrims this upfront.
Ayurveda-product B2B (dry only)
Patanjali wholesale and smaller herbal-shop B2B in the Jwalapur and Kankhal markets. Dry herbs, churnas, sealed Ayurvedic tablets — yes. Oils, chyawanprash, syrups, decoctions — no, banned outright. Commercial invoice + KYC for every B2B parcel.
Wedding shipments (Marwari–Haridwar pilgrimage-wedding axis)
Marwari families running a pilgrimage-then-wedding circuit — engagement and pre-wedding rituals at Haridwar, reception in Udaipur or vice-versa. Bulk pickup over an afternoon, single GST invoice.
Retiree parcels in Bhupatwala / Kankhal
Bhupatwala and Kankhal have a sizeable retiree-and-ashram-resident population. Mainland family ships seasonal clothes, sealed pharmacy packs, dry rations.
Hardwar-Roorkee corridor B2B
The SIDCUL industrial belt and the Hardwar-Roorkee corridor host pharma, FMCG and ancillary units. Recurring B2B parcels — sealed sample shipments, paperwork, replacement components.
Stricter than most lanes — Haridwar pilgrims trip on these.
DTDC (and every air-network courier) prohibits these. Items most often misjudged on the Udaipur → Haridwar lane:
Banned outright
- Liquid gangajal in any bottle, sealed or not — DTDC will refuse pickup. Tell pilgrims before they pack.
- Ayurvedic oils, chyawanprash, syrups, decoctions — perishable + liquid
- Camphor-oil aarti samples and petroleum-based aarti oils
- Aerosols and pressurised cans
- All other liquids — perfumes, attars, oils, gels, hand sanitiser
- Currency notes and gold/silver bullion
Common Haridwar misjudgements
- "Sealed" gangajal pots from temple shops — the seal does not change the rule. Liquid, not accepted.
- Patanjali honey / liquid Ayurveda products — even sealed retail packs are liquid; not accepted.
- Loose camphor / dhoop / aarti incense — flammable solid, not accepted.
- Fresh peda / laddoos from Hari-ki-Pauri sweet shops — perishable, no exceptions.
AWB on WhatsApp. Track on dtdc.in. POD when it lands.
The moment the parcel is booked into DTDC, we send you the AWB number on WhatsApp. Type it into the public tracker at dtdc.in any time. When delivery happens we forward the POD — signed slip or photo — within the hour.
Specific to Udaipur → Haridwar.
Can you ship gangajal back to Udaipur for relatives?
No — and we want to be honest about this upfront so you don’t pack a parcel that gets refused at pickup. Gangajal is a liquid; DTDC (and every air-network courier) does not accept liquids on the courier lane. Sealed or unsealed, in a copper pot or a plastic bottle, the rule is the same. The workaround pilgrims use: take it back as personal check-in baggage on the flight or train — that is your responsibility, not the courier’s. We will tell you this in the WhatsApp confirmation before pickup, not after.
How does Patanjali / Ayurveda B2B wholesale work on this lane?
Dry products only — churnas, sealed-pack tablets, dry herbs, packaged sattvik foods. We need the buyer’s GSTIN, a commercial invoice on the outside of the carton, and your KYC on file. Liquids, oils, chyawanprash, syrups — none of it ships. Recurring weekly slots are possible if you have steady volume; rate sheet on contract.
Do you deliver to Rishikesh, Roorkee or Dehradun via this lane?
Yes via DTDC last-mile from the Haridwar facility. Rishikesh (~25 km) — same day or next morning. Roorkee (~30 km, on the Hardwar-Roorkee corridor) — same day. Dehradun (~55 km, but routed via the Dehradun facility for proper last-mile) — add 1 working day. We will confirm the realistic ETA before you book.
