Common Udaipur misjudgements
- Attar bottles from the old city — these are oils. They cannot ship.
- Silver jewellery — non-precious silverwork is fine; precious-metal pieces are not.
- Loose handmade incense — paste-based agarbatti is treated as flammable solid.
- Packed pickle / ghee — semi-liquid; do not pack with regular parcels even for student care boxes.

One Delhi-specific note: many addresses use sector/block notation, so we always confirm the recipient’s phone with you before pickup — last-mile riders rely on it.

Can you deliver to a Delhi address by tomorrow morning if I book today?
Often yes, on express, if you book before noon. Express is 1–2 working days on this lane — air leg overnight to Delhi DTDC, last-mile next morning. Booking after noon usually pushes delivery to day-after-tomorrow morning. For ministry deadlines or court submissions, give yourself the buffer and book the day before. In November–January, Delhi smog days can occasionally delay last-mile by a few hours.
I’m sending a marble inlay piece to a buyer in Saket — how should it be packed?
Two-layer packing: bubble wrap directly on the piece, then a corrugated outer carton with foam corners, FRAGILE on every face. Surface routing (not air) — fewer handling points than the air leg. Be aware DTDC’s default liability cap is limited; ask us about declared-value cover before pickup if the piece is high-value. For Saket showroom delivery, recipient phone is critical — the rider needs it to find the block.
My recipient is in Gurgaon / Noida — same rate as Delhi?
Yes. Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Greater Noida are on the same Delhi DTDC last-mile run, so the rate band is identical to Delhi proper. Transit is the same — 2–3 days surface, 1–2 days express — though Gurgaon and Noida last-mile can run an hour or two later in the day than central Delhi.
