Be sceptical of those. Cuttack is roughly 1,650 km from Kota and there is no direct air leg from Kota — everything trans-ships through Mumbai or Delhi onward to Bhubaneswar gateway. Honest numbers: 4 working days on surface, 2–3 working days on express (which uses an air leg via Mumbai → Bhubaneswar). For sealed-cover paperwork to Ravenshaw or Buxi Bazaar, choose express and book before noon; for everything else, surface is fine.

Buxi Bazaar is the dominant pattern on this lane. The Marwari-Cuttack merchant axis is over a century old, and we see steady weekly flow of family-firm trade documents, signed partnership papers, GST notices, tender bids and account-book originals between Kota's Marwari merchant houses and Buxi Bazaar / Mangalabag receivers. Express works best for time-sensitive papers; surface for routine correspondence. We mark family-firm name and recipient mobile cleanly on every AWB.
Can you ship Cuttack tarakasi (silver-filigree work)?
It depends on the piece. Decorative, non-precious tarakasi (frames, panels, gift items in plated metal) we will accept and ship — corrugated outer with foam corners, FRAGILE on every face, surface routing. Precious-metal silver pieces and silver bullion are banned by DTDC outright; we cannot ship them and will refuse the booking. If your stock mixes both, we'll separate at pickup and only book the eligible items.
