Plan on 3 working days for surface and 2 working days on express, both door to door. The road leg runs NH62 from Jodhpur up through Jaipur, joins NH27 toward Agra, and into the Kanpur hub. Pre-monsoon dust spells in April–May or heavy rain in July–August can occasionally add half a day on surface — we flag the parcel if a hold looks likely en route.

For domestic delivery to a Kanpur leather dealer, you'll need a commercial invoice with item description and declared value plus shipper KYC. The wrinkle is condition: only treated, finished leather is accepted on the air-courier network — raw hides are not. If your dealer plans to onward-export those samples to USA, UK or AU, country-specific certification (REACH-style declarations etc.) needs to ride in the parcel; tell us at pickup so we route correctly.

A standard Jodhpur → IIT-K care kit holds books and study materials, sealed dry food (namkeen, mathri, vacuum-packed kaju katli), kitchen tools, festival outfits and seasonal clothing. We deliver direct to Kalyanpur hostel blocks — mark the AWB with hall number, room and recipient mobile. During end-of-semester rush (early May, late November) deliveries can take an extra working day because of guard-room volume. Pull out any ghee tins or attar bottles before we seal the carton — those won't ship.
