Honest answer — how long does this actually take?
Surface is 4 working days the vast majority of the time, 5 if the Mumbai trunk is congested. Express is 2–3 working days — 2 if we book before the Jaipur air cut-off, 3 if it slips. We don’t do same-week express on a freshly booked surface parcel and we won’t pretend otherwise. If you need it in 2 days, book express by morning.
Can you deliver to naval cantonment / dockyard addresses in Vizag?
Yes. DTDC has standing access to the Vizag cantonment, dockyard residential pockets and Eastern Naval Command quarters. Sealed-cover paperwork is routine on this lane — the cover is not opened in transit and the AWB is marked accordingly. We need the recipient’s service number or quarter number, plus the gate / area name on the AWB. Recipients usually need to show ID at the gate to collect.
