- Til-oil bottles for pind-daan — these are oils. They cannot ship; buy them at Vishnupad.
- Sealed prasad pots with milk fat — perishable and semi-liquid; do not pack with regular parcels.
- Attar bottles from Sanganer / Walled-City perfumers — these are oils. They cannot ship.
- OTA range items — anything ammunition-adjacent or unit-issued; needs a service movement order, not a courier.

How long does it really take from Jaipur to Gaya?
Surface is three working days end-to-end — Jaipur to Lucknow overnight, Lucknow to Patna on the trunk, Patna to Gaya by line-haul, last-mile on day three. Express (air) is two working days, flying via Patna with onward road, or directly into Gaya airport when slot capacity is available. Book before noon for the cleanest day-two express delivery.
How does delivery into the OTA Gaya cantonment actually work?
DTDC has cantonment-station experience at Gaya OTA. The AWB is marked with the unit and gate; the delivery executive carries ID and waits at the gate while the cadet or officer recipient is paged from inside, or the unit's mailroom signs on their behalf. Sealed-cover originals — service correspondence, bank papers, sealed competition results — are handled to the same standard. We do not carry anything ammunition-adjacent or unit-restricted; that needs a formal service movement order.
Do you deliver to Bodh Gaya, Rajgir and Nalanda?
Yes to all three. Bodh Gaya is effectively the Gaya last-mile and lands on the same day as Gaya city. Rajgir and Nalanda add one working day from the Gaya branch. We mark the monastery name, guesthouse or institute on the AWB; the delivery branch coordinates the final handover directly with the recipient.
