Up the Bengaluru–Hyderabad corridor and into the Hyderabad hub, then east on the Warangal highway for the final leg. Surface is 2–3 working days end to end. The air routing via Hyderabad brings it to 1–2, though on a lane this length the gap is often only a single day in practice.

That sounds simple and is the exact thing that trips people up: an address written as "Warangal" is very often physically in Hanamkonda or Kazipet, several kilometres away and on a different rider's beat. Write the actual locality, not the district name.

Handloom orders, swatches and trims
Warangal and the weaving clusters around it are a working handloom economy, not a heritage exhibit, and Bengaluru buyers, boutiques and export houses deal with them directly. What goes out from here is order paperwork, colour cards, sample swatches, labels, tags, packaging and hardware for finishing. What comes back is finished cloth. Both are ordinary surface consignments; neither is fragile, and both are billed on volume more often than weight.
Durries and woven floor coverings
Warangal durries have a genuine market in Bengaluru's interiors trade, and orders move on this lane year round. Rolled goods are the volumetric trap described above — tell us the rolled length and diameter before we quote, not after. We wrap rolls in polythene and then in a fabric outer, because a bare roll picks up scuffs across a 715 km surface leg.
Granite and stone-trade material
The granite belt running through this part of Telangana sells into Bengaluru's construction and interiors market, and the paperwork and small samples that go with it move by courier. Tile and slab samples are accepted but must be crated properly — a loose stone piece in a carton will break out through the side. Warangal's market yard is one of the largest agricultural trading centres in Telangana, and the businesses around it buy weighing equipment, pump and motor spares, packaging and printed material out of Bengaluru. These are unglamorous, repeat, weight-based consignments and they suit surface routing and a contract rate sheet.
Move-outs and family parcels home
Telangana families are a visible part of Bengaluru's working population, and this lane carries the ordinary traffic of that: household goods when someone moves back, festival gifts, wedding invitations posted in bulk, dry sweets, documents. Around Bathukamma, Dasara and Sankranti this segment alone can double.

Common Bengaluru → Warangal misjudgements
- Naphthalene balls and camphor packed with textiles — the refusal specific to this lane. People tuck them into a carton of clothes or a rolled durrie to keep insects out. Both are flammable solids and both make the whole consignment undeliverable. Use a sealed polythene wrap instead; it works better anyway.
- Spirit-based dyes, fabric paint and turpentine — sent to weaving and finishing units as if they were craft supplies. They are flammable liquids and are refused whatever the bottle size.
- Power banks, e-scooter batteries and hoverboards — the student-parcel classic. A laptop or phone with its battery sealed inside is fine on surface. A bare cell, a spare power bank, an e-scooter or drone battery, or anything above 100 Wh on the air leg, is refused. Tell us what electronics are in the box at booking.
- Wet pickle, ghee and home-made sweets in syrup — parents send these to hostels constantly. Dry laddu, chekkalu and podi travel fine in sealed pouches. Anything that can pour, seep or melt at 40 °C in a truck does not.
- Dead laptops and scrap electronics — a swollen battery or a board being sent back "for repair" is e-waste as far as the network is concerned and is refused outright. A working device with an intact battery is a completely different case and moves without trouble.

On Warangal, two details decide whether the first attempt succeeds. Put the recipient's live mobile number on the AWB — Tier-2 delivery beats cover a lot of ground in one loop and the rider calls rather than searches. And write the locality properly: "Warangal" on its own, when the parcel is actually for Hanamkonda or Kazipet, is the commonest cause of a wasted attempt on this route. Can you deliver to a student inside NIT Warangal?
We deliver to the campus, but you should not expect the parcel to be carried to a hostel room. Like most large campuses, deliveries are handled at the gate or at a central collection point, and the student is called to come and take it. That means three things for you. Put the student's own mobile number on the AWB, not a parent's number in Bengaluru — the rider will ring the number on the label and nobody else. Write the hostel or department name in the address so the parcel is filed correctly at the collection point. And avoid booking so that it arrives during an exam block or a vacation, when there may be nobody there to collect and the parcel sits until someone does or comes back to the hub.
The address I have says Hanamkonda, not Warangal. Will it still be delivered?
Yes — Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet are effectively one urban area, they share the 506xxx pin series, and all three are served off the same hub. But they are not the same place on the ground, and they are not on the same rider's beat. If you book to "Warangal" and the house is in Hanamkonda, the parcel is still delivered; it just may take an extra attempt while the address is worked out. Write the locality exactly as the recipient gives it to you, add the pin code, and add a landmark. That single line of extra detail is worth more on this lane than paying for express.
I want to send a rolled durrie. How will it be charged, and how do you pack it?
On volumetric weight, almost certainly. The formula is (length × width × height in cm) ÷ 5000, and a rolled floor covering is long and thick even when it is light — a 6 kg durrie can easily bill as 12 kg or more once it is rolled. You are always charged on whichever is greater, actual or volumetric. Two things help: fold rather than roll where the weave allows it without creasing permanently, and give us the finished dimensions on WhatsApp before pickup so you know the number before the parcel leaves your house. We wrap rolls in polythene against dust and moisture and then in a fabric outer, because 715 km of surface handling will scuff a bare roll.
