It is, and it is more precise than the street address you would write in Bengaluru. Qatar addresses locations by zone number, street number and building number, and those three figures put a driver at the correct door anywhere in the country. Write them on the AWB in that order along with the area name — Al Sadd, Najma, Al Wakrah — the flat or villa number if it is an apartment, and a Qatari mobile for the recipient. What does not work on its own is a PO Box: it is fine for an envelope routed through the post, but a courier parcel needs somebody at a physical building to receive and sign for it.

Send them express with a tracked AWB, and send them once. Get the set attested first — MEA, then the Qatar embassy — because a hospital's HR office will return an unattested file and you will have paid for the freight twice. Pack originals in a rigid document sleeve rather than a soft envelope, keep scanned copies of every page on your phone before the box is sealed, and declare the contents as personal documents with a nominal value; documents are not dutiable but they still have to be described. You can, but repack them properly first, because Qatar is stricter about food labelling than about food itself. Loose chakli in a newspaper twist or an unmarked polythene pouch invites the parcel to be opened. Put each item in a sealed pouch, write the contents and the date it was made on a slip inside, and list every item on the declaration. Keep it genuinely dry — no oil-soaked halwa, no wet chutney, no ghee-heavy sweets that will bleed through in a hot hold. Sealed factory packets with a printed ingredient list and expiry date are always the easier route through Doha if you have the choice.
