Common Jaipur-lane misjudgements
- Loose precious stones — even small parcels to Johri Bazaar are not allowed; only non-precious samples with proper invoice.
- Silver jewellery — non-precious silverwork is fine; precious-metal pieces are not.
- Attar bottles from the old city — these are oils. They cannot ship.
- Packed pickle / ghee — semi-liquid; do not pack with regular parcels.

For express, yes — same-day-evening delivery is typical for the closest Jaipur pin codes (Civil Lines, MI Road, C-Scheme, Malviya Nagar) when we book before noon. Outer pin codes and surface routing land next morning. We’ll confirm the cut-off for the recipient pin when you call.
I’m shipping non-precious gem samples to a Johri Bazaar dealer — any docs?
Yes — a commercial invoice naming the items as non-precious samples, plus sender KYC (PAN or Aadhaar). Declared-value cover is advised since DTDC’s default liability cap is limited. Precious stones and bullion are not accepted on any lane, even Udaipur → Jaipur.
I’m sending a marble-inlay piece for a Jaipur wedding — packing?
