Common Udaipur misjudgements
- Attar bottles from the old city — these are oils. They cannot ship.
- Wet pickle / ghee tins — semi-liquid; not for regular parcels.
- Loose handmade incense — paste-based agarbatti is treated as flammable solid.
- Silver jewellery — non-precious silverwork is fine; precious-metal pieces are not.

What is the right care-kit pattern for Doon School / Welham / RIMC?
Boarding schools have item lists they accept and lists they refuse. The standard pattern that always lands is: books in one carton, school-permitted dry snacks and toiletries in another, woollens or uniforms in a third. Skip anything wet, anything aerosol, anything in glass. Label every carton with the student / cadet name, house and section. Surface routing is fine; express only when something must be there next morning.
Do you deliver to Mussoorie Mall Road and the hill addresses?
Yes. Once the parcel reaches DTDC Dehradun it is forwarded by DTDC last-mile up to Mussoorie. Expect +1 day beyond the Dehradun ETA, and tell us at booking so we can mark the AWB through-routed. Heavy monsoon (July–August) can add another day if the road is restricted.
How is sealed-cover paperwork to the IMA or RIMC handled?
With priority. DTDC has long-running defence-station coverage for the Dehradun area and is used to sealed-cover routing — the cover is not opened in transit; the AWB is marked accordingly; a station-receipt stamp is the POD. Express service only for these consignments.
