Madurai is roughly 2,250 km from Jodhpur and there is no direct trunk — the parcel trans-ships via Ahmedabad → Mumbai → Bangalore (or Chennai) → Madurai. Don't believe sites that quote 2 days; that simply isn't physically possible without a same-day air booking, which costs many multiples of express. For time-sensitive paperwork choose express and book before noon; for everything else, plan for the longer transit.
