Send a parcel from Bangalore to Noida. We pick up free.
About 2,180 kilometres north into the 2013xx sector grid across the Yamuna from Delhi — 5–6 working days on DTDC surface, 3–4 by air express. Noida runs on sector numbers, and one number decides everything about the last mile. Free pickup across Bengaluru at 5 kg and above, desk open 24×7.
Pickup from Bengaluru's east-side tech belt, trunk haul north, delivery sector by sector.
Pickup, Bengaluru.
Within 60–90 minutes across the core city, with a two-hour window asked for on the eastern edge — Mahadevapura, Kadugodi and Varthur — because those runs sit behind the worst of the Whitefield traffic. The rider carries tape, bubble wrap and a scale, and the carton is weighed and sealed in front of you before it leaves the address.
Bengaluru sortation.
Into DTDC's Bengaluru facility the same evening. The evening cut-off is the pivot on a lane this long: catching tonight's departure versus tomorrow's is the difference between arriving on day five and arriving on day six at the far end, and no amount of tracking fixes it afterwards.
Line-haul north.
The long trunk run up the centre of the country into the northern network, then across the Yamuna to the Uttar Pradesh side of the capital region. 5–6 working days on plain surface freight. Air express out of Kempegowda lands it in 3–4, which is what most equipment and sample shipments on this lane take.
Noida delivery.
Last-mile across the 2013xx sector series. The office and IT sectors along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and the 62/63 belt, the residential sectors, Sector 18's retail block and the Film City studios at Sector 16 are all standard door delivery. Greater Noida and Noida Extension are a separate beat off a different branch and typically add a day — see the FAQ before you assume they are the same booking.
POD on WhatsApp.
The signed proof of delivery — signature image or stamped slip — reaches you on WhatsApp within an hour of the parcel changing hands.
Starting rates, Bangalore → Noida.
Charged on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, plus the fuel surcharge in force on the booking date. GST is extra.
- Standard parcel (surface) from ₹120 / kg 5–6 working days. Min billable 5 kg.
- Express parcel (air) from ₹180 / kg 3–4 working days. Door delivery.
- Bulk consignment (35 kg+) from ₹120 / kg Min 35 kg. Surface routing.
Pickup is free anywhere in Bengaluru on this lane from 5 kg upward. Volumetric formula: (L × W × H cm) ÷ 5000 — the number that catches camera cases, tripod bags, monitor boxes and flat-packed display panels, all of which measure far heavier than they weigh. Through December and January, north Indian fog regularly costs the surface leg an extra day; if a shoot date or a delivery commitment depends on it, book air.
Production gear for the studios, electronics samples, and seller stock for the warehouses.
Camera and production equipment
Noida holds one of the country's densest concentrations of television and OTT production, and Bengaluru's freelance crews and rental houses feed it. Camera bodies, lenses, matte boxes, tripods, gimbals, audio kit and lighting hardware travel to the Film City studios and to production offices in the surrounding sectors. Everything goes in a hard case inside a double-wall carton, and the battery rules below are not negotiable — read them before you pack a kit bag.
Electronics samples and components
Noida's manufacturing sectors run mobile assembly, consumer electronics and contract manufacturing, and the design and testing side of a lot of that work sits in Bengaluru. Prototype boards, enclosure samples, connectors, display modules, test jigs and first-article parts move north on this lane constantly, usually against a purchase order and a delivery date. Bulk band from 35 kg, GST invoice for the freight issued against your GSTIN.
E-commerce seller stock
Sellers and small D2C brands operating out of Bengaluru ship replenishment cartons to fulfilment and warehousing addresses on the Noida side. What matters here is paperwork rather than packing: a tax invoice inside the carton, a duplicate in a pouch taped to the outside, and an e-way bill generated by you where the consignment value crosses the threshold. Warehouse receiving desks reject what they cannot match to a document.
IT hardware between offices
Laptops, monitors, network gear and lab equipment moving between a Bengaluru development centre and a Noida IT or BPO office, and assets going back to an employer after an exit. Double-boxed, foam-cornered, marked fragile. Say at booking that a machine is inside so we route it under the right rules and put the asset reference on the waybill for your IT team.
Student cartons to the Noida campuses
Western Uttar Pradesh sends a lot of students to Bengaluru's colleges and Bengaluru sends a fair number back the other way to the private universities on the Noida–Greater Noida corridor. Books, a laptop stand, bedding, a kettle, winter clothes going up before the first cold week. Picked up from a PG or hostel address and delivered to a hostel or a rented flat, at a fraction of airline excess baggage.
Home shipments to a Noida flat
Families in Bengaluru sending to a working son or daughter in a Noida sector high-rise — a quilt before winter, medicines with the prescription copy, a pressure cooker, sealed dry snacks from home. Surface freight handles this comfortably, and the free pickup means the carton never has to reach a booking counter.
A short, real list.
The network prohibitions first. The second card is specific to what this lane carries — production kit and electronics — where the refusals are almost never about the obvious things:
Banned outright
- Liquids of every description, sealed or not
- Aerosols, pressurised cans and gas cartridges
- Cosmetics, nail polish and fragrance
- Flammable solids, matches and lighters
- Currency, bullion and precious stones
- Perishables and anything needing refrigeration
Where production and electronics shipments fail
- V-mount and broadcast battery bricks — the standard block on a camera kit going to a shoot, and the standard refusal. High-capacity lithium packs are not carriable loose, and anything above 100 Wh will not fly. Ship the bodies, lenses and rig; move the bricks with the crew or hire them in Noida.
- Haze and fog machine fluid — every lighting kit has a can of it. It is a liquid, it is often flammable, and it stops the whole consignment rather than just itself. Buy it at the destination.
- Spirit gum, adhesive remover and prosthetic make-up kits — solvent-based products from a make-up case. Flammable liquids and cosmetics both, refused on surface and on air.
- Loose 18650 cells, prototype battery packs and swollen cells — a constant with electronics samples out of Bengaluru. A pack sealed inside a finished, working unit is accepted on surface; bare cells and development packs are not, and a swollen cell is refused outright.
- Handsets and electronics with no invoice — a carton of phones or accessories with no tax invoice and no e-way bill is a detention risk on the Uttar Pradesh side, not just a courier problem. Put the paperwork in and on the box.
AWB on WhatsApp. Track on dtdc.in. POD when it lands.
The AWB reaches you on WhatsApp as soon as the parcel is booked into DTDC, you can follow it yourself at dtdc.in, and the POD image is forwarded within an hour of delivery. Noida is the easiest major address in the capital region to write correctly and the easiest to get wrong, because the entire city is a numbered grid: the sector number is the address. "Noida, near the metro station" is not deliverable; "Sector 62, Block C, plot number, building name" is. Two further rules make the difference here. Studio and production-house addresses in the Film City block need a named recipient who can authorise a gate entry, because riders do not walk into a shooting floor unannounced. And residential high-rise societies in the newer sectors hold parcels at a central collection desk — if your recipient is at work all day, tell us and we will note that instruction on the waybill rather than let the parcel bounce back to the hub.
Specific to Bangalore → Noida.
Is Greater Noida or Noida Extension the same booking as Noida?
No, and this is the single most expensive assumption on the lane. Noida proper is the 2013xx sector series and is delivered directly off the local network. Greater Noida and the Noida Extension stretch north-east of it are a separate delivery beat fed off a different branch, and they typically add a working day on top of the 5–6 day surface or 3–4 day express window quoted here. People conflate them constantly because both say "Noida" in the address and the societies out there are marketed under Noida names. The fix is simple: give us the exact six-digit pin code and the sector number when you book, and we will quote and route the right one. If you only know the society name, send it to us on WhatsApp and we will look up which beat it falls in before we pick up rather than after.
Can I courier a camera kit from Bangalore to a shoot in Noida?
Yes, and it is one of the most frequent things we handle on this route — but you have to split the kit. Bodies, lenses, tripods, gimbals, monitors, cables and rigging all ship without difficulty in hard cases inside double-wall cartons, and we mark them fragile and high-value. What does not ship is the power: V-mount bricks, spare lithium packs and anything rated above 100 Wh cannot travel on the air leg and loose cells are not accepted on surface either. Batteries sealed inside a device are treated differently and are usually fine on surface. Book express if there is a shoot date, tell us the case dimensions so we can give you the volumetric weight before pickup, and ask about declared-value cover — the standard courier liability cap is nowhere near what a lens set is worth.
What paperwork do I need to send stock to a Noida warehouse or a factory?
Two separate documents and people mix them up. From us you get a GST invoice for the freight and the AWB number in writing on WhatsApp. From you, if the goods are commercial rather than personal effects, the consignment needs a tax invoice inside the carton, a copy in a document pouch taped to the outside, and — once the consignment value crosses the e-way bill threshold, ₹50,000 in most cases — an e-way bill generated under your own GSTIN, because you are the consignor. Uttar Pradesh checks inbound commercial movements, and a carton with no matching document is where delays and detentions come from, not the courier network. If you ship to the same Noida address every week, ask us to set a fixed pickup slot in Bengaluru on a contract rate with a single monthly invoice.
Tell us the rough weight. We'll come back in minutes.

Give us the sector number and we'll do the rest.
WhatsApp the pickup address, a rough weight and the Noida pin, or call and book it on the phone. The Bengaluru desk runs 24×7, so a late-night collection before a morning departure is normal for us.
