Send a parcel from Bangalore to Gurugram. We pick up free.
About 2,170 kilometres north to Haryana's 122xxx belt — 5–6 working days on DTDC surface, 3–4 by air express. This is the corporate lane out of Bengaluru: Cyber City, Udyog Vihar and the Golf Course Road towers. Free pickup anywhere in Bengaluru at 5 kg and above, desk open 24×7 in HSR Layout.
Pickup from Bengaluru's office belt, trunk haul north, delivery across Gurugram's sectors and DLF phases.
Pickup, Bengaluru.
60–90 minutes in the core city. A large share of this lane is booked from the corporate corridor — Domlur, CV Raman Nagar, the Old Airport Road office cluster and Koramangala — where the collection point is usually a reception or a facilities desk rather than a flat. Give us the floor, the company name as it appears on the building directory and a desk extension, and the rider signs in downstairs instead of calling you from the lobby.
Bengaluru sortation.
Handed into DTDC's Bengaluru facility the same evening it is collected. Anything booked after the evening cut-off waits for the next departure, and on a run this long that is a full working day at the Gurugram end — worth knowing if you are shipping against a Monday meeting.
Line-haul north.
The long trunk run up through the Deccan and central India into the northern network, then across to the Haryana side of the capital region. Surface completes it in 5–6 working days. Air express out of Kempegowda compresses the same distance to 3–4, and on this lane most business shipments justify it.
Gurugram delivery.
Last-mile across the 122xxx series. Two very different address types: the office towers of Cyber City, Udyog Vihar and Sohna Road, which receive through a mailroom with its own cut-off, and the high-rise condominiums along Golf Course Road, Golf Course Extension and the new sectors, where the rider is stopped at the tower gate. IMT Manesar sits further out and runs on industrial-estate timings.
POD on WhatsApp.
The moment it is signed for we forward the proof of delivery — the signature image or the stamped receiving slip — to you on WhatsApp, usually inside the hour.
Starting rates, Bangalore → Gurugram.
Billed on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, plus the fuel surcharge applying on your booking date. GST is extra.
- Standard parcel (surface) from ₹120 / kg 5–6 working days. Min billable 5 kg.
- Express parcel (air) from ₹180 / kg 3–4 working days. Door delivery.
- Bulk consignment (35 kg+) from ₹120 / kg Min 35 kg. Surface routing.
Pickup is free from any Bengaluru address on this lane at 5 kg and above. Volumetric formula: (L × W × H cm) ÷ 5000, which is what actually bills on monitor boxes, exhibition standees and branded merchandise cartons — large, light and expensive to move. Two calendar notes: December–January fog across the north routinely costs the surface leg a day, and the corporate gifting fortnight before Diwali is the one period when a same-week delivery needs express.
Corporate transfers, IT assets between offices, and pitch material with a meeting date on it.
Employee transfer and relocation cartons
The single strongest reason this lane exists. Bengaluru and Gurugram trade staff continuously — a product manager moves to a Cyber City head office, a consultant is reassigned to a Golf Course Road client team — and the household goes ahead in cartons while the person flies. Books, a monitor, kitchen kit, winter clothes bought after the first Gurugram November. Six or eight cartons on the bulk band is a fraction of a packers-and-movers quote for the same volume.
Company IT assets moving between offices
Laptops, docking stations, headsets, spare monitors and testing hardware moving between a Bengaluru development centre and a Gurugram corporate office, plus machines going back to an employer after an exit. We double-box with foam corners and mark fragile. Tell us at booking that a machine is inside so it is routed under the correct battery rules and the AWB carries the asset tag reference your IT team will ask for.
Pitch decks, proposals and tender sets
Gurugram is where a very large amount of Indian consulting, audit and agency work is decided, and physical submissions still matter. Bound proposal copies, printed tender sets, sealed bid envelopes and signed annexures go from Bengaluru offices to Udyog Vihar and Sector 44 addresses on express, with the recipient's mobile on the waybill and the AWB confirmed to you in writing the same evening.
Branded merchandise and event kit
Bengaluru brands and agencies ship the physical layer of a Gurugram event ahead of the team — pull-up banners, backdrops, delegate kits, T-shirts, printed collateral, product demo units for a hotel ballroom or a Cyber Hub venue. Address it to the venue with the event name, the setup date and the organiser's number, and book it to land two clear days before setup rather than the morning of.
Working parents sending to a Gurugram flat
The reverse of the classic parcel: families in Bengaluru sending to a son or daughter who has taken a Gurugram job and a condominium studio — bedding, a pressure cooker, medicines with a prescription copy, a quilt before winter, the odd carton of food from home. This travels well on surface, and the free pickup means nobody has to carry it to a booking counter.
Legal and property documents
Share transfer forms, notarised affidavits, employment paperwork, builder agreements and possession letters travelling between a Bengaluru signatory and a Gurugram office or registry. Always express, always with a phone number that is answered, and always with the AWB saved — a document consignment you can prove was dispatched on a given date is worth the small premium.
A short, real list.
Network prohibitions first. The second card is written for what this lane actually carries — corporate shipments, gifting and office moves, where the refusals look quite different from a household parcel:
Banned outright
- Liquids of any kind, factory-sealed bottles included
- Aerosols, pressurised cans and gas cartridges
- Cosmetics, nail polish and fragrance
- Alcohol and tobacco in any quantity
- Currency notes, bullion and precious stones
- Matches, lighters and flammable solids
Where corporate shipments come unstuck
- Diwali gift hampers with a bottle inside — the commonest single refusal on this lane in October. Wine, whisky and even non-alcoholic sparkling drinks are liquids the network will not carry, and one bottle holds the entire hamper carton. Ship the dry contents and have the bottle sourced locally in Gurugram.
- Bulk giveaway power banks — a favourite conference freebie, ordered in Bengaluru and sent north by the box. Loose lithium cells and power banks are not carriable in any quantity; a battery sealed inside a working device is a different case. Order branded power banks to the Gurugram address directly.
- Perfume and deodorant gift sets — routinely bought for client gifting and just as routinely pulled at screening. Fragrance is both a liquid and a flammable, and it fails on both counts.
- Desk plants, succulents and bonsai in pots — a standard office-warming gift and a genuinely popular one. Live plants and potting soil are perishable cargo and are not accepted, on surface or on air.
- Signed cheques, demand drafts and blank instruments — people slip these into a document envelope without declaring them. Negotiable instruments and currency are excluded from courier carriage; send the scan and route the physical instrument through your bank.
AWB on WhatsApp. Track on dtdc.in. POD when it lands.
You get the AWB number on WhatsApp the moment the parcel is booked into DTDC, you can check it yourself any time at dtdc.in, and the POD image follows within an hour of delivery. Gurugram's last mile has one problem worth understanding before you book: the addressing. The city runs two overlapping systems — numbered municipal sectors and the private DLF, Sushant Lok and South City layouts with their own phase and block names — and a great many riders lose time because "DLF Phase 3" and "Sector 24" describe overlapping ground. Write both if you know both. For a condominium, the tower letter and flat number are not optional: security desks here are strict, the rider does not get past the boom barrier, and a parcel that cannot be phoned through to a resident comes back to the hub for a second attempt the next working day. For an office, name the company exactly as the building directory has it and add the floor.
Specific to Bangalore → Gurugram.
How should I write a Gurugram address so it actually gets delivered first time?
Give the rider both address systems and a phone. Gurugram is laid out in numbered municipal sectors, but the built-up parts most people live and work in are private layouts with their own naming — DLF Phase 1 to 5, Sushant Lok, South City, Golf Course Extension, Sohna Road. A local knows that a given tower is in both DLF Phase 4 and a sector; a delivery rider working from a printed label does not necessarily. The format that works is: flat or unit number, tower or block, condominium or building name, layout name, sector number, Gurugram, then the six-digit 122xxx pin. Add the recipient's mobile without exception — every gated tower here stops the rider at the boom barrier and delivery happens by phone call from the gate. If the recipient works office hours and the parcel is going to a home address, tell us at booking and we will note an evening attempt on the waybill.
Can you collect from my Bengaluru office reception instead of my house?
Yes, and on this lane it is the more common arrangement. Office collections work best when the parcel is already sealed and labelled at the reception or facilities desk with a named contact, because the rider signs the visitor register and collects rather than waiting for you to come down. We cover the whole city for this — the Domlur and CV Raman Nagar office belt, Koramangala, the Old Airport Road cluster and the tech parks further east — and pickup is free at 5 kg and above. If your company ships to the same Gurugram office repeatedly, ask us to set a fixed weekday slot on a contract rate with one monthly GST invoice against your GSTIN; it removes the per-shipment approval loop that slows most corporate dispatches down.
Is Gurugram quoted differently from Delhi, and does Manesar cost more?
Gurugram is its own lane at about 2,170 km with a 5–6 day surface and 3–4 day express window — very close to Delhi on paper, but it is delivered on the Haryana 122xxx side of the network and quoted on its own sheet, so give us the pin rather than booking "Delhi" and hoping. Within Gurugram, the developed sectors, Cyber City, Udyog Vihar, Sohna Road and the Golf Course corridor are all standard door delivery at the same rate. IMT Manesar and the outlying industrial sectors are still served but behave like an industrial estate — a gate, a stores desk and a receiving cut-off that usually closes well before the working day does. If you are sending there, give us the plot number, the unit's registered name and the stores contact's mobile, and we will schedule the run to hit the window instead of arriving after it.
Tell us the rough weight. We'll come back in minutes.

One WhatsApp message and a rider is on the way.
Send us the pickup address, a rough weight and the Gurugram pin code, or call and we will book it on the phone. The Bengaluru desk runs 24×7, so a collection after your last meeting of the day is routine here.
